Another record for Super Slav, longest unbeaten run..

Was driving last night and had talksport on.
They mentioned that we have beaten our longest unbeaten run record, guessing that's just premier league era or could be all time top flight?

Longest unbeaten run since 2000 I heard last night, no idea if 2000 was our longest ever run at that time though.
It's odd considering Fordy told us all we were on our worst run of form for four years after the Southampton game.

When he was appointed I thought a win at Anfield would be as good as an FA Cup semi final as an achievement as manager - but thought I'd never live to see it.
Assuming Liverpool beat Exeter I'm reasonably optimistic we'll do it again.
Crazy optimism from someone who remembers as far back as the run in to the '64 Final (but not to the previous Anfield win) or does anyone else feel the same?

The sad thing is a lot of the idiots on that thread still spout the same shit.
You're lucky you still go Macca, as since I mainly gave it all up, I have to watch what the morons still type during the matches when we're either drawing or go 1-0 down. Then at full time they still cunt us off as it could have been better - couldn't make it up.
I guess it's what modern football has become, that it's also taken away the meaning of SUPPORT, as half of them have no idea what supporting a club means.

Our squad is as weak as piss. It's like the 10th cup of tea with the same teabag. Our subs bench is made up of kids and players who wouldn't get near another premier league team. And we started with Nolan.

Very good point regarding Dicks. He's managed the ladies team, Grays and Wivenhoe. Hardly a glowing CV.

I think he'll get till Xmas. A few more of the last 2 performances and it might be sooner.
I think your right, I can't see them making the same mistake they made with grant.
It's a pity we can't change chairman as I see them as a huge part of the problem.
